Bruno Genovese, Esq. is an international attorney, member of the Bar of Nice, France (since 1990) and the Law Society of England and Wales (2004). He is qualified to plead in front of all courts and tribunals of the European Union and is registered with the California Bar as a Foreign Legal Consultant.
Top-tier graduate of Strasbourg University with a Master in Laws degree in EU Privacy and Multimedia and a Master in Laws degree in Data Privacy and Cybersecurity from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, Bruno passed the French Bar exam in 1990 and joined the Cabinet Fontaneau, a prominent European law firm with offices in Paris, Nice and Brussels, where he represented high profile clients during the next ten years. He wrote an EU taxation software which received the “Most Innovative Software of the Year” award at the first European multimedia convention in Cannes (MILIA 95).
Bruno is the founding partner of the French law firm AVOCATIS with domestic and international practice specialized in European Union data privacy and Cybersecurity, drawing on his experience as an attorney registered with the French Data Protection Authority as a “Correspondant Informatique & Libertes” (which under the GDPR as of May 25,2018 will be titled Data Protection Officer) and on his extensive prior career as a software developer to apply real world experience to solving data privacy issues in a business environment.
