Josh Sacks is the founder and principal of The Law Offices of Josh Sacks, PC. He is consistently ranked among the top attorneys in the area of personal injury and has a track record of success in cases involving complex medical issues. He has tried numerous cases to verdict and has lectured and written extensively on topics ranging from case intake through closing arguments. Over the past twenty-five years of practice, Mr. Sacks has handled significant multi-million-dollar product liability, medical negligence, trucking, and a host of other personal injury cases. He has been interviewed by national and local news outlets and has been retained or consulted by other lawyers in cases across the country.
Mr. Sacks has developed a reputation for aggressive advocacy with the highest degree of professionalism and respect for the courts and the law. He has also devoted substantial time and resources to the legal community, from serving as Vice Chair of the Civil Procedure and Evidence Committee for the American Bar Association to promoting outreach at the local level through high school mock trial programs and moot court competitions. In recognition of his contributions, the Moot Court Office at the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary bears his name.
Mr. Sacks graduated in 1991 with Honors from Amherst College, where he majored in Asian Languages & Civilizations (including an intensive four-year study of the Japanese language) and History. After working for a year as an adjuster for a major insurance company, he went to law school at William & Mary where he served on the Executive Board of the Law Review. He moved to the metro-Atlanta area in 1995, where his law practice is still located. Mr. Sacks has earned an AV-Rating from Martindale-Hubbell (5.0 out of 5.0), a 10 out of 10 (superb) rating on AVVO, and is routinely selected by the SuperLawyers and well as the Top 100 Lawyers organizations.
