Louisiana CLE Requirements
CLE requirements for Louisiana attorneys.
Required credits
Louisiana attorneys are required to earn 12.5 credits, including 1 Ethics credit and 1 Professionalism credit per year.
Due date for CLE: Credits are due by December 31st.
Reporting credits: All credits must be reported by January 31st.
Reporting attendance: myLawCLE reports attendance to the Louisiana State Bar.
Computer-based Education
Louisiana attorneys are limited to (4) hours of computer-based Education, this includes interactive live webcasts, webinars, and on-demand recordings. The remaining hours must be earned via In-person CLE events.
