Ben North is an associate attorney and Title IX advisor at Binnall Law Group in Alexandria, Virginia. He represents students and faculty in state and federal litigation, and also within the Title IX process at private and public K-12 schools and universities. He has argued cases before numerous state and federal courts, including the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Pursuant to 34 C.F.R. §106.45(b)(5)(iv), he serves as an “advisor” to students and faculty in schools receiving federal funding across the country. He has served as an “advisor” to students and faculty in states across the country, including but not limited to Virginia, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New York, North Carolina, Illinois, Texas, Montana, and Hawaii.
