IP and brand protection in the metaverse has gotten a lot of attention in recent months. In this program, we will cover recent developments in metaverse branding, including how best to protect both engagement and enforcement opportunities. We will discuss how and why NFTs matter in the metaverse, as well as how patent and copyright opportunities can be protected and exploited. We will also examine emerging trends in the newly filed NFT-related infringement cases and discuss best practices in the wake of this rapidly changing environment that is causing some to rethink and redefine the proprietary nature of these intangible assets.
