CLE requirements for Connecticut attorneys.
Required credits
Connecticut attorneys are required to earn 12 credits, including 2 Ethics and Professionalism credits per year.
Due date for CLE: Credits are due in the previous calendar year.
Reporting credits: In the following year’s registration process.
Example: Attorneys would indicate on their 2025 registration form that they’ve completed all of their MCLE requirements for 2024.
Self-Study/On-Demand credits
Both live and on-demand classes count toward credited hours.
