West Virginia CLE Requirements CLE requirements for West Virginia attorneys. Required credits West Virginia attorneys are required to earn 24 credits every 2 years, including 3 credits in Ethics (which can include Legal Ethics, Office Management, Attorney Well-Being, and/or Elimination of Bias).

Due date for CLE: All credits are due by June 30th of even-numbered years.
Reporting credits: All credits must be reported by July 1st of even-numbered years.
Reporting attendance: myLawCLE reports attendance to the West Virginia State Bar.

Self-Study/On-Demand credits A minimum of 12.00 credit hours must be taken as live programs and a maximum of 12.00 credit hours can be taken as pre-recorded programs.
