John Samberg is a partner in the litigation department of Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro, Schulman & Rabkin LLP. John enjoys a diverse practice and handles cases throughout Nevada and California. Through admission pro hac vice John has represented clients in numerous jurisdictions across the country. In nearly forty years of practice, John has handled a broad variety of matters, including commercial, construction, and bankruptcy litigation, real estate disputes, creditor’s rights, and major injury/wrongful death cases in State, Federal, and Bankruptcy Courts. John’s diverse background and litigation experience has made him particularly successful in dispute resolution.

John is a member of the National Chapter of the Order of Barristers, and upon graduation from law school with magna cum laude honors, was presented with the ABOTA Award for Excellence in Preparation for Trial Practice of the Law. John lectures at continuing legal education seminars for organizations such as National Business Institute and Lorman Education Services. John has also received special recognition for his pro bono activities. Before becoming a lawyer, John worked as a private detective, and that training has proven to be invaluable in his litigation and trial practice.

As a skilled negotiator, Gus has a proven ability to reach favorable settlements that protect his clients’ interests while maintaining productive relationships with opposing parties. His nuanced approach to dispute resolution emphasizes creative problem-solving and effective communication to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
