Mr. Brown is Co-Founder and Chief of Legal Innovation at Overture and also serves as Overture’s General Counsel.

In addition to working with Overture, Mr. Brown is a founding partner of the law firm of L&F Brown, P.C. and and Chief Legal Officer of BizCounsel, Inc., which provides subscription legal plans to small and growing businesses.

Mr. Brown started his legal career in the Los Angeles office of Irell & Manella LLP, where his practice focused on a variety of complex civil litigation matters, including securities class action defense, antitrust, and trademarks.

Mr. Brown earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where he was a Michael T. Masin Scholar and Staff Editor of the Entertainment Law Review. He is admitted in California, Florida, D.C., Washington, Illinois, Colorado, and Michigan.
