Program Summary

Nearly six years since the Opportunity Zone (OZ) program was introduced, we are certainly in a different place than where we started. After a dip in interest in 2022, 2023 showed increased excitement for the program and a much more diverse landscape of success than in its earlier years. OZ Funds and OZ Businesses have adapted and pivoted from original plans, capitalized on the increased value OZ status brought to their property, and in some cases, realized their business may not be viable.

This course is co-sponsored with myLawCLE.

Key topics to be discussed:

  • Hiccups along the way – changes in construction costs, change in original plans
  • Sale of QOZB activity – what are the next steps/options?

Date / Time: January 31, 2024
