Mississippi CLE Requirements
CLE requirements for Mississippi attorneys.
Required credits
Mississippi attorneys are required to earn 12 credits per year, including 1 Ethics/Professionalism (which can be in Ethics, Professional Responsibility, Professionalism, Malpractice Prevention, Substance Abuse or Mental Health).
Due date for CLE: Credits are due by July 31st.
Reporting credits: All credits must be reported by August 15th.
Self-Study/On-Demand credits
Legal professionals in Mississippi can only earn up to six hours of their required CLE credits through online programs for the 2023-2024 period, as the previous exception allowing more online credits is no longer in effect. The six (6) hour credit limit for CLE earned from any online program has been reinstated.
