New Mexico CLE RequirementsCLE requirements for New Mexico attorneys.Required creditsNew Mexico attorneys are required to earn 12 credits every year, including 2 credits in Ethics, and 1 credit on Equity in Justice (with the last credit being effective on January 1st, 2024).
Due date for CLE: All credits are due by December 31st.
Reporting credits: All credits must be reported by February 1st.
Reporting attendance: myLawCLE reports attendance to the State Bar of New Mexico.
Self-Study/On-Demand creditsStarting from the compliance year 2024, the self-study cap has been removed. This means that all New Mexico attorneys can now earn their 12 CLE hour requirements through on-demand.
