Brad Bonnell | Hotel Security Group

Brad Bonnell has 31 years of experience as an executive level safety and security director in the hospitality industry and 15 years of law enforcement experience as a criminal investigator at the local, state and federal levels.

Brad has a proven record of success developing, implementing and directing threat based intelligence-leading safety and security programs for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and Extended Stay America Hotels. He played a key role in establishing the IHG Group Global Security Team delivering security capability to all levels of the business including 4,700 business units in over 100 countries. On behalf of the American Hotel Lodging Association (AHLA) Bonnell testified before a Congressional Subcommittee of the Department of Homeland Security concerning hotel security capability in the US following the terrorist attack against hotels in Mumbai.

Recipient of the Tom G. Davis, Loss Prevention Life Time Achievement Award presented by Hospitalitylawyer.com, Bonnell possesses a broad range of safety and security expertise and experience including Complex Fraud Investigations, Security Threat Analysis and Management, Risk Assessments, Crisis Management, Security Structures, Security Training, Executive Protection and Policies. He played a key role in the development of corporate anti-fraud, counter terrorism, travel risk and kidnap for ransom policies and plans. Darrell Chaneyfield | Hospitality’s Finest

Darrell B. Chaneyfield has a combined 38 years of experience as an executive-level Security and Threat Management Global Director in the hospitality industry and local and state law enforcement.

Darrell has a proven record of success developing, implementing, and directing intelligence-led threat-based safety and security programs for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). He played a key role in establishing the IHG Global Security Team delivering security capability to all levels of the business including over 6300 hotels in six continents and over 100 countries across 19 distinctive brands.

Darrell was awarded the Medal of Valor, by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI). Darrell possesses a broad range of safety and security expertise and experience including Complex Fraud Investigations, Security Threat Analysis and Management, Risk Assessments, Crisis Management, Security Structures, Security Training, Executive Protection, and Policies. He played a key role in developing corporate anti-fraud, counterterrorism, travel risk, and kidnap-for-ransom policies and procedures. He also served as the primary lead on major investigations into serious incidents that threatened the reputation of IHG’s business.

Chaneyfield also possesses 14 years of law enforcement experience having served as an Assistant Special Agent in Charge with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and two years as a patrolman with the Smyrna Police Department in Smyrna Cobb County, Georgia.

 

Eric Conn | Conn Maciel Carey

Eric J. Conn is a founding partner of Conn Maciel Carey and Chair of the firm’s national OSHA Workplace Safety Practice Group. His practice focuses exclusively on issues involving occupational safety and health law. Before launching his own OSHA Practice, Eric practiced for more than a decade alongside the former first General Counsel of the OSH Review Commission.

Institutes, 2008), and “Defending Against the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Increasingly Severe Enforcement Practices” in Complying with the Occupational Safety and Health Act: Leading Lawyers (Aspatore, Inside the Minds, 2012).

Eric is also a popular speaker on OSHA and related legal issues, including as the producer of Conn Maciel Carey’s annual OSHA Webinar Series, and regular keynotes trade group and industry conferences. He is often quoted as a leader in the field in trade publications.
