Program Summary

When Google answers before anyone clicks, the firms that win are the ones clients already trust

AI answer engines now resolve legal questions before a prospect ever reaches a law firm's website. Yet the local ecosystem — map packs, Google Business Profiles, directories, and reviews — remains firmly winnable, because both humans and AI models rely on those same trust signals to decide which firms to recommend.

The stakes are already visible. Neglect your Google Business Profile, and spam-fighting competitors take the map pack. Let negative reviews sit unanswered, and prospects and AI engines both read the silence. Depend entirely on rented search traffic, and a single algorithm shift can empty your intake pipeline.

This program delivers the work product to respond: a local-presence audit covering rankings, citations, and entity consistency; ethical, bar-compliant review generation systems; E-E-A-T and structured-data signals that make your firm a trusted source; and lead magnets, email nurture sequences, and intake follow-up loops that turn one-time visitors into signed clients you own.

Key topics to be discussed:

  • Auditing Your Local Presence
How map packs, Google Business Profiles, and directories perform when AI answers dominate the page — and how to benchmark your firm's rankings, citations, and entity consistency against competitors.
  • Google Business Profile Optimization
The categories, practice-area pages, photos, and posts that lift a law firm's map visibility, plus how to fight spam-listing competitors.
  • Reviews & Reputation Management
Ethical review generation systems, responding to negative reviews, and the bar-compliance considerations that keep the strategy defensible.
  • E-E-A-T & Digital PR
The attorney bios, credentials, awards, structured data, and earned mentions and links that make your firm a trusted source for search and AI engines.
  • Owned Audiences & Email
Why email lists, subscribers, and communities are the new law firm moat — with lead magnets, newsletters, and ethics-compliant automated nurture sequences to build them.
  • Content That Converts Clients
Decision-stage content, video, podcasts, and social channels that generate clients without a single Google click, plus intake follow-up and measurement that connect content to signed cases.

Agenda

SESSION 1 – The Trust Layer: Local Search, Reviews, and Reputation Signals That Win Clients (and Get Cited by AI) | 12:00pm – 1:00pm

While AI answer engines reshape how potential clients research lawyers, one channel remains firmly winnable: the local ecosystem of Google Business Profiles, map results, reviews, and reputation signals that both humans and AI models rely on to decide which firms to trust. Drawing on more than two decades of local search experience and his work auditing hundreds of law firm campaigns, Casey Meraz shows attorneys how to build a defensible local presence — from entity and E-E-A-T signals to review generation, reputation management, and digital PR — that drives cases directly while feeding the trust signals AI platforms cite.

BREAK | 1:00pm – 1:10pm

SESSION 2 – The Client Pipeline You Own: Content, Email, and Community Strategies That Don’t Depend on Search Traffic | 1:10pm – 2:10pm

When search engines answer questions before anyone clicks, the firms that thrive are the ones that build audiences and relationships they control. Attorney and legal marketing strategist Annette Choti — author of the bestselling Click Magnet: The Ultimate Digital Marketing Guide for Law Firms — walks attorneys through building an owned-media pipeline: content that converts rather than just ranks, email newsletters and lead magnets, video and podcast presence, social channels, and intake nurturing systems that turn one-time visitors into signed clients and referral sources, all within the bounds of legal ethics rules.
