This session maps the full lifecycle of a high-conflict matter and defines when — and why — to bring in forensic accountants, financial planners, therapists, and valuation experts, and how to keep the team aligned toward one outcome.
II. Follow the Money: Uncovering, Valuing, and Protecting Complex Assets | 2:30pm – 3:00pm
Closely held businesses, deferred compensation, stock options, cryptocurrency, and hidden assets don’t divide themselves. This session walks attorneys through the identification, documentation, and valuation strategies that drive equitable distribution — and hold up under litigation scrutiny.
