Program Summary

The eDiscovery process is evolving rapidly, with modern data sources such as Slack, smartphones, social media, geolocation, and other emerging technologies becoming integral to legal investigations. These data types, when combined with traditional workflows, create new challenges and inefficiencies. At the same time, the rise of cloud computing and AI has led to a fading emphasis on the foundational principles of digital forensics—chain of custody, preservation, and defensibility—leaving collections more vulnerable to scrutiny.

This session brings together industry thought leaders to explore how to effectively manage and integrate modern data types while maintaining forensic rigor. We’ll dive into how this data can be leveraged to construct a compelling narrative, connecting the dots across diverse sources of evidence. By focusing on strategies that merge forensic principles with storytelling, participants will learn how to reveal the truth behind the data and present it in a defensible, cohesive, and impactful way.

Through real-world examples and practical insights, we’ll uncover the risks of cutting corners in cloud based and AI-driven collections, and demonstrate how careful evidence handling can build trust, credibility, and a complete picture of the case. Join us to ensure that your eDiscovery process not only uncovers the facts but also tells the story behind the evidence.
