Christopher G. Campbell | DLA Piper LLP

Chris Campbell is the Chair of DLA Piper’s Product Liability and Mass Tort practice group, which is among the world’s largest and most award-winning team of product liability defense counsel.

A graduate of Harvard Law School, Chris has 20 years’ experience in all phases of mass tort, class action, and other complex commercial litigation, including trying cases and arguing appeals.

He has served as global, national, and trial counsel for many global companies in the life sciences, food and beverage, automotive, and insurance sectors. In addition, Chris also advises clients on regulatory, communications, and other strategic matters with the potential to impact the clients’ business interests or reputations.

Jessica C. Wilson | DLA Piper LLP

Jessica Wilson concentrates her practice on the defense of pharmaceutical, life science and medical device companies in a variety of matters, including federal and state products liability litigation, consumer fraud, medical monitoring and environmental litigation. Jessica has led every stage of litigation, including strategic assessment and planning, motion practice, discovery, expert development, trial and resolution.

Jessica also advises life science clients on research and development, risk management and mitigation, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and other regulatory and compliance issues.

 

Jennifer M. Feldman | DLA Piper LLP

Jennifer Feldman is an eDiscovery practitioner and litigator who practices in both federal and state courts. She is chair of DLA Piper’s eDiscovery and Information Management practice, and head of the firm’s eXplore eDiscovery Resource Center. Jennifer serves as lead eDiscovery counsel on complex national and international litigation and investigation matters. She works with our clients and case teams to develop eDiscovery strategies to drive efficiency and defensibility advising on the deployment of policy, process and technology to reduce risk and cost. She also counsels clients on best practices for knowledge management and information governance outside of the litigation context, working with clients to create and implement cost-effective policies and procedures. She speaks to clients and industry groups on the subjects of electronic discovery, data retention and preservation and information governance.

Jennifer also has extensive experience in government investigations, internal investigations and securities litigation. Her background is in securities litigation, representing corporations and their officers and directors facing government investigation and/or class action and derivative litigation, with an emphasis on conducting corporate internal investigations and representing corporations and their officers and directors in connection with investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Justice and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.

 

Stephanie Peatman | DLA Piper LLP

Stephanie Peatman is a trial lawyer who brings a strategic, results-driven approach to complex disputes spanning mass tort, product liability, and commercial litigation. As one of the youngest attorneys to serve on a national product liability trial team for a Fortune 100 company, Stephanie has guided clients through every phase of high-stakes litigation – from investigation and discovery to trial, settlement, and appeal.

Stephanie is recognized for her ability to navigate multifaceted legal challenges, including managing large dockets of mass tort cases, leading national medicallegal committees, and serving as local counsel in both state and federal courts. She is particularly skilled at developing and executing litigation strategies in high exposure matters, and is frequently called upon to present on emerging issues impacting her clients. Tony Sadek is a pharmacist and associate in DLA Piper’s Product Liability and Mass Tort practice, where he brings a unique blend of scientific expertise and legal acumen to the defense of pharmaceutical and medical device clients in highstakes, multidistrict litigation (MDL). Tony has played a key role in mass tort litigations involving thousands of product liability claims, representing major life sciences companies that span jurisdictions in both federal and state coordinated proceedings. He is particularly skilled at developing science-driven litigation strategies that mitigate exposure and protect clients’ most valuable product portfolios. Tony’s experience spans advising on risk management, regulatory vulnerabilities, and litigation strategy for industry-leading pharmaceutical and medical device products.
