Program Summary

Five applications, one assistant, two hours of live demonstrations.

Copilot is Microsoft’s powerful AI assistant, and it works inside the Microsoft 365 applications legal professionals rely on — Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams. This webinar shows how to put it to work through many live demonstrations, opening with the fundamentals: features, benefits, data security, and comparisons to other AI assistants.

The demonstrations track a lawyer’s actual output. In Word, summarize, draft, compare, edit, and format contracts, briefs, memos, and other legal documents. In Outlook, draft emails, summarize conversations, and manage meetings and inbox items. In Excel, manage legal data, create reports, calculate data, and create charts. In PowerPoint, create and edit presentations and insert images. In Teams, recap meetings.

The program also builds effective prompting skills — tips and best practices — and shows Copilot assisting with basic legal research while recognizing the need to verify authorities. Attendees leave able to ask questions, analyze information, generate recommendations, run web and other queries, work with PDFs, extract data, and create documents.
